Evaporator Distillation

Intergulf’s evaporator distillation process, located in LaPorte, Texas, is rated at 28,000 gallon per day and is available for custom processing.

The three-stage distillation process consists of a falling film evaporator, a wiped film evaporator, and short path distillation in series. The system uses increasing temperatures and a vacuum moving through the system to produce up to four product streams.

In our evaporation distillation process, the separation, purification, or concentration of materials occurs under vacuum, but at reduced residence times as compared to more conventional distillation methods.

Our high vacuum process achieves separations of materials at the lowest possible temperatures, making it ideal for heat-sensitive and high-boiling mixtures.
