TERP Program Intergulf’s commitment to helping the environment extends past their waste treatment and recycling operations and into their transportation fleet. Intergulf was recently awarded the Clean Air Champion award from the Houston-Galveston Area Council. Through the H-GAC’s Clean Vehicle Program and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s (TCEQ) Texas Emission Reduction Plan (TERP), Intergulf has removed ten of their older commercial vehicles from the roads and replaced them with ten 2012 model tractors equipped with the latest in NOX emission reduction equipment. These new units are estimated to reduce 34.73 tons of NOX over the next 7 years.
