Hazardous Waste Treatment Intergulf has expanded their waste acceptance capabilities to include certain characteristic hazardous waste due to a recent permit modification. This permit modification and expansion was possible because of our relationship with Gulf Coast Waste Disposal Authority Bayport facility, and because of our connection to their facility via pipeline. The Waste Water Treatment Exemption allows 3rd party waste receiving facilities to accept hazardous waste that can ultimately be treated by the receiving facility or by the POTW as long as the two are connected via pipeline, and as long as the effluent meets CWT and local parameters. Intergulf is excited about this new treatment capability and is ready to talk to you about the disposal of your hazardous waste.
